Privacy Policy

Introduction

UnitBasse for iPad is developed by 20 FOIS L'OURS (SASU 20 FOIS L'OURS, France). We care about your privacy. This policy explains how the app handles your data.

Data collected

UnitBasse collects no personal data.

The app works fully offline, on your iPad. It needs no account and sends no information to any server — not to us, not to third parties.

Microphone access

UnitBasse asks for access to the microphone (or to your audio adapter's input) for:

• Tuner — detecting the note you play;

• Amp — processing your bass sound in real time.

The sound is processed locally, live: it is never recorded, stored or sent. You can revoke this access at any time in iPad Settings › UnitBasse › Microphone.

Local storage

Your settings (selected scale, tuning, colors, text and fretboard size, left-handed mode, amp and metronome settings) are saved on your iPad only. They are neither synced nor sent.

Analytics, advertising and tracking

UnitBasse contains no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. We collect no usage statistics. On the App Store, the app is declared “Data Not Collected”.

Website: contact and presets newsletter

These two points only concern the unitbasse.com website, not the app.

Contact form: your message is sent by email so we can reply, and is not kept on the website.

Presets newsletter (optional): if you sign up on the Presets page, your email address, language, the date and the consent text are stored on our hosting (OVH, France). They are only used to announce new presets and UnitBasse news, are never shared or sold, and are deleted as soon as you unsubscribe, through the link in every email or by writing to us. Preset downloads are counted without any personal data.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have rights over your personal data. Since we collect none, there is nothing for us to access, change or delete.

Your local settings are deleted along with the app.
