Install
- Open the downloaded UnitBasseTrial-2.0.dmg file.
- Drag UnitBasse Trial to your Applications folder.
- Launch it. As with any app downloaded from the Internet, macOS asks you to confirm: click Open. The app is notarized by Apple.
For 7 days
Everything is unlocked: scales and harmony, tuner, amp and effects, metronome, Scores and BackTrack. A discreet badge shows the days left; no window pops up at launch.
After 7 days
The tuner and the metronome stay usable, with no time limit. Everything else locks: you still see it, with a padlock, and a button takes you to the Mac App Store.
After you buy
UnitBasse, the Mac App Store version, is a separate app: install it, then you can delete UnitBasse Trial.
Your presets, scores and charts export as .unitbasse files: double-click a file to open it in UnitBasse.
Good to know
- The trial needs no account and sends no data.
- Each trial version is valid for 90 days after its release: always download the latest one, here.
- The trial is for Mac only. UnitBasse for iPad is bought directly on the App Store.
