Introduction

UnitBasse is developed by 20 FOIS L'OURS. We take privacy seriously. This policy describes how we handle your data.

Data Collected

UnitBasse does not collect any personal data.

The app runs entirely offline and locally on your Mac. No information is transmitted to external servers.

Microphone Access

UnitBasse requests microphone access for:

• Tuner — Detection of the played frequency

• Virtual amp — Real-time audio processing

Captured audio is processed locally and is never recorded nor transmitted.

Local Storage

Your preferences and presets are stored locally on your Mac via UserDefaults. This data stays on your device and is not synced.

Analytics & Advertising

UnitBasse contains no analytics, tracking or advertising. We collect no usage statistics.

Website: contact, presets newsletter and video

These points only concern the unitbasse.com website, not the app.

Contact form: your message is sent by email so we can reply, and is not kept on the website.

Presets newsletter (optional): if you sign up on the Presets page, your email address, language, the date and the consent text are stored on our hosting (OVH, France). They are only used to announce new presets and UnitBasse news, are never shared or sold, and are deleted as soon as you unsubscribe, through the link in every email or by writing to us. Preset downloads are counted without any personal data.

YouTube video: the BackTrack video is hosted on YouTube. Nothing is loaded from YouTube until you click the video; when you play it, you connect to YouTube (Google), which then applies its own privacy policy.

Your Rights

Under GDPR, you have rights over your personal data. Since we collect none, there is nothing to access, modify or delete on our side.

Your local presets can be removed by uninstalling the app.
