On first launch

When you first activate the amp, macOS may display this security dialog:

"Using the specified Audio Unit module(s) requires lowering the security settings of UnitBasse. Are you sure you want to continue?"

This dialog is completely normal and also appears with Logic Pro, GarageBand, MainStage, and any professional audio app that loads third-party Audio Unit plugins. It only appears once.

Click "Lower Security Settings" to continue.

UnitBasse collects no data, does not use the network, and never transmits your audio. This setting only allows UnitBasse to load Audio Unit plugins installed on your Mac.
